Internet in Indonesia
Internet and Masyarakat Indonesia

Cinta Indonesia (I love Indonesia)
Sky Trade old slogans was “Anak bangsa terus maju”, many people think that this slogan is too political but with this slogan I feel the need of creating pride toward Indonesian product, we all adores international brands even if it is made in
Indonesia causing us to lose ground. I have seen many places and met many people. There is nothing special about those brand name purse, wallet or shirt, between the $100 purse and the $600, and guess what that purse says about you? “Greed’s, Inconsiderate and Envy” Whoahah ha x3 Just kidding’. Batik is fresh, classy and Indonesian pride and we all should proud to wear them.
We all have heart, let us speak our actions with our heart, spend our money wisely, think about others who struggle in this country just for food. I like Gucci and Louie Vuitton, but I’m not gonna be a fool and pour everything in my pocket just for a pair of shoes or a wallet. They say money can’t buy happiness, but let’s start creating happiness by spending our money wisely.
This edition feature 100% Indonesian Product and 100% Indonesian Models. Fashion by Ghea S Panggabean.

Gospel of Love ::ayat-ayat cinta::
Gospel of Love (Ayat-ayat Cinta)
The tittle was already striking, this film was done differently than any other Indonesian and the result is amazing. This film becomes phenomenon all over Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Starring Rianti Cartwright, Carissa Putri from international background and Fedi Nuril and Indonesian Student studying in Al-Azhar Cairo, Egypt. Supported by Oka an Indonesian Hip-hop moguls, and the costume is somewhat delightful. The script is so on point that almost all ages could relate to their story relate to their story.
It must be hard for Fahri “I feel sorry for him”. You gotta see it to know why.
Fahri, jadi orang yang sabar ya, orang sabar itu disayang siapa??....

philosophy
RE: Philosophy on your company
This may seem simple, everyone is going to say that they have a philosophy behind their company, and that they are applying it to everything they do. But little do they know they are already far contradicting them self. Just take a minute to do a reality check because it is so easy for some to go out of line. Now I want to share my view regarding a company I love and hate.
Nike is my favorite company, their product is a must among high school students in U.S. and their brand is going strong. Their placement is very strategic that is as strong and sturdy as a mountain. They make small cultural phenomenon with their nicks product such as premium dunks, limited edition this and that, for all I know they turn rubber and leather made in Indonesia into hard cash worldwide.
They can spare hundreds millions of dollars awarding icons (endorsing). They could do just that and they can create enough buzz for the whole year. Names like Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc is also creating history with Nike. Buzz, to me means using me and you as a media, that is a high level marketing don’t you think?
The philosophy is JUST DO IT. Perfectly done!

Nego
Win-Win Negotation
Finding a fair compromise
Do you feel that someone is continually taking advantage of you? Do you seem to have to fight your corner aggressively, or ally with others, to win the resources you need? Or do you struggle to get what you want from people whose help you need, but over whom you have little direct authority? If so, you may need to brush up your win-win negotiation skills.
Effective negotiation helps you to resolve situations where what you want conflicts with what someone else wants. The aim of win-win negotiation is to find a solution that is acceptable to both parties, and leaves both parties feeling that they've won, in some way, after the event.
There are different styles of negotiation, depending on circumstances.
Where you do not expect to deal with people ever again and you do not need their goodwill, then it may be appropriate to "play hardball", seeking to win a negotiation while the other person loses out. Many people go through this when they buy or sell a house – this is why house-buying can be such a confrontational and unpleasant experience.
Similarly, where there is a great deal at stake in a negotiation, then it may be appropriate to prepare in detail and legitimate "gamesmanship" to gain advantage. Anyone who has been involved with large sales negotiations will be familiar with this.
Neither of these approaches is usually much good for resolving disputes with people with whom you have an ongoing relationship: If one person plays hardball, then this disadvantages the other person – this may, quite fairly, lead to reprisal later. Similarly, using tricks and manipulation during a negotiation can undermine trust and damage teamwork. While a manipulative person may not get caught out if negotiation is infrequent, this is not the case when people work together routinely. Here, honesty and openness are almost always the best policies.
Preparing for a successful negotiation…
Depending on the scale of the disagreement, some preparation may be appropriate for conducting a successful negotiation.
For small disagreements, excessive preparation can be counter-productive because it takes time that is better used elsewhere. It can also be seen as manipulative because, just as it strengthens your position, it can weaken the other person’s.
However, if you need to resolve a major disagreement, then make sure you prepare thoroughly. Using our free worksheet, think through the following points before you start negotiating:
*
Goals: what do you want to get out of the negotiation? What do you think the other person wants?
*
Trades: What do you and the other person have that you can trade? What do you each have that the other wants? What are you each comfortable giving away?
*
Alternatives: if you don’t reach agreement with the other person, what alternatives do you have? Are these good or bad? How much does it matter if you do not reach agreement? Does failure to reach an agreement cut you out of future opportunities? And what alternatives might the other person have?
*
Relationships: what is the history of the relationship? Could or should this history impact the negotiation? Will there be any hidden issues that may influence the negotiation? How will you handle these?
*
Expected outcomes: what outcome will people be expecting from this negotiation? What has the outcome been in the past, and what precedents have been set?
*
The consequences: what are the consequences for you of winning or losing this negotiation? What are the consequences for the other person?
*
Power: who has what power in the relationship? Who controls resources? Who stands to lose the most if agreement isn’t reached? What power does the other person have to deliver what you hope for?
*
Possible solutions: based on all of the considerations, what possible compromises might there be?
Style is critical…
For a negotiation to be 'win-win', both parties should feel positive about the negotiation once it's over. This helps people keep good working relationships afterwards. This governs the style of the negotiation – histrionics and displays of emotion are clearly inappropriate because they undermine the rational basis of the negotiation and because they bring a manipulative aspect to them.
Despite this, emotion can be an important subject of discussion because people's emotional needs must fairly be met. If emotion is not discussed where it needs to be, then the agreement reached can be unsatisfactory and temporary. Be as detached as possible when discussing your own emotions – perhaps discuss them as if they belong to someone else.
Negotiating successfully…
The negotiation itself is a careful exploration of your position and the other person’s position, with the goal of finding a mutually acceptable compromise that gives you both as much of what you want as possible. People's positions are rarely as fundamentally opposed as they may initially appear - the other person may have very different goals from the ones you expect!
In an ideal situation, you will find that the other person wants what you are prepared to trade, and that you are prepared to give what the other person wants.
If this is not the case and one person must give way, then it is fair for this person to try to negotiate some form of compensation for doing so – the scale of this compensation will often depend on the many of the factors we discussed above. Ultimately, both sides should feel comfortable with the final solution if the agreement is to be considered win-win.
Only consider win-lose negotiation if you don't need to have an ongoing relationship with the other party as, having lost, they are unlikely to want to work with you again. Equally, you should expect that if they need to fulfill some part of a deal in which you have "won," they may be uncooperative and legalistic about the way they do this.

PUSHIN' A BENZ
Mercedes Benz
The name is so powerful that the best comes to our minds when we hear it, we can imagine how shiny and smooth its leather seat. The ability to run through dangerous curves smoothly. Anyways, I do not drive a Mercedes, but I see them all the times in hip-hop video clips supported by my favorite artist. but If I have the money,” I’m gonna get me a C-class, Y’all know what I’m sayin”
Benz had a unique way of marketing their product, they lead the market with their uniqueness, Mercedes will let people experience something fantastic. Guess what, the people who experience their product will become their marketing agent for free. Well done, Mercy.
Worldwide, out of all the top auto-companies Mercedes is the only one rarely launch their product at Malls, they can spend zero dollar on advertising and they would still lead the market. They present to us a great quality product and they stand proud next to it.
With masterpiece and marvelous product that makes history as the ride of the rich and powerful, they do not need false advertising,’ oh yeah! Our President SBY is riding one, an S-Class with RI 1 tag that you paid for, next time you see him, ask him about it’. Market and social force, sweetheart!

Challange
What is the best Indonesian product in the market?
ABC? Indomie? Well our supermarket is filled with foreign product, did you know that? Yes, there nothing special about imported goods anymore, the rice we eat everyday is imported. What’s funnier is we import meat, milk, soybeans, corn and on and on. Okay, now how do you feel about this imported goods, are you satisfy?
Sosro make you an offer, an offer you can’t resist, people loves this product, and it is a success winning Indonesian hearts, the product has a story and character within it selves. And will challenge any drink product in Indonesian market.
Well, this imported goods are the reason why the unemployment rate are high, the domino effect will be poverty, corruption, and crimes. The industry is going to take a while to get healthy if the people are not supporting the local industry. What would you like to drink Coca-cola or Sosro? What Indonesian product will challenge the international market? Opinion please?

I feel that Jakarta is a strong city economically, globalization had run over everything in its path, if we go down town around Plaza Indonesia, ” I’m personally do not feel like I belong there”, the life style of the city is felt like it is impossible for Indonesia to reach this level.
From the Jet setter, to the high roller, to the yuppies, old money and the new money are here in this city, they are all here to see and to be seen. It is almost like we never had a bad history, or when east meet west what will happen next? Do we even concern about our culture existence? makes us wonder where all this money comes from.
In reality Indonesian have a spending power in many field and industry, people who saw the opportunity are responding to this phenomenon. The super luxury apartments, fantastic whips, one of kind fancy hotels are asking for your money. The time has come that Jakarta is on the rise.
What manner is appropriate in this kind of environment? How do we penetrate the market? When would be the right the right time to execute? What industry gains the most?
